It's certainly more nuanced than Dark, the "it's a bad guy, therefor it must be Dark" Type. Or Flying, the "it's airborne so we'll make it Flying to explain the Ground immunity" Type.

Being a trickster/havoc-reeker/Mad Hatter type a solid enough identity. Not an intuitive concept, no. But it's not meant to be. They specialize in causing disorder, and that which does not make sense.
Again I don't even think Chaotic should be a Type. But it would WORK just fine, and it's at least more interesting than the Sound/Cosmic rubbish people always tash on about.
