Page 2 was him showing he caught a seedot and it never showed up again
Page 3 was the "everything happens for a reason" thing wherein he said it because something else died, so it wasn't nearly as notable
Page 4 was the point where it went locke before it died
and every subsequent appearance of it afterward in the later comics as a spirit was as nuzleaf.
