You still ignore the fact that they have countless meme metas except the one that has been the standard play for all of pokemon's life (and that we played on simulators before smogon started getting direct influence over them) and that people actually want to play.
Not to mention the whole Stealth Rock debacle, that people loved to play on the short lived ladder without it - later removed and every discussion about it was shut down. God forbid if people get the meta they want.
But hey, the people who dislike smogon are the childish ones. Not the dudes who took over the simulator scene and refuses to accept different views on it (even if different views used to be the standard before those fucks were even born)
