Him not being all positive all the time is what makes him feel human imo. I do believe Kiki was written with the intention of having players like him and with expectations of popularity, but at the same time, it doesn't feel that way. He just feels like a real kid, as opposed to some "stereotype" made with the intention of being popular

>I can only speak for GX being really goodOh I did start watching that at the time, but didn't manage to continue. First season felt lack-luster but from what I've seen it gets a lot better. Have watched a bit of Zexal too and I really liked it despite the kind of dumb fillers
