ITT: retards blinded by nostalgia. After Johto, aka the switch to full digital animation, the Pokemon anime was the DEFINITION of sterile. All of AG, all of DP, all of BW, and yes, XY too, were all cookie cutter, lifeless cardboard cutout everything made entirely to sell product.
SM saved the Pokemon anime and you retards shat on it because Ash, an anime character, actually looks and moves like an anime character instead of looking like he's picked out of a set of predrawn poses like a fucking Buckley comic. So glad the current season is keeping up the art style, there have been some legitimately stellar bits of animation that literally all previous seasons were missing.
