Diamond and Pearl also sold more copies than objectively superior Platinum, and Ruby and Sapphire sold more copies than objectively superior Emerald. LGPE and ORAS are NOT better than HGSS and sales are not a reliable metric, and this is coming from someone who thinks USUM and ORAS are the best 3D Pokemon games so far (though that's mainly because I'm not a fan of 3D Pokemon games in general).
