"Sis" just sounds like you're trying too hard to differentiate the person by gender, and for no reason. Hell, people don't even call their own SISTERS that, outside shoddily translated doujins.
>>29278256I totally get it. Salandit wasn't really feminine in features at all, so the shift is definitely worth noting. Plus (and I've only ever said this about one other pokemon in the past), I'm pretty sure this is an instance of Game Freak subtly acknowledging their very vocal furry demographic. Its dex entry talks about luring Pokemon and humans with it's pheromones, and boy oh boy does that evolution have "please draw pornography of me" written all over it. It's literally got bedroom eyes.
