- OR/AS contains two regions and covers the original plotline of ruby/sapphire but with an extended storyline that ties into the new region.
- Yes the cover legends are mega-evolutions and yes the orbs are their corresponding megastones
- After the original plotline, team magma and aqua do not return the orbs but rather learn about their true meaning and use them to evolve the legendary of each version, in order to use their extraordinary new power to flood/dry up the entire world. The teams also have slightly differenct motives, Aqua wanting to begin a completely new world with a return to the sea and Magma wanting to destroy all life on the planet, returning it to barren rock.
- Yes battle frontier, but it is compacted and some facilities are replaced. It also is now located in the mainland.
- Rayquaza obviously also mega evolves
