That's a very good question, to be honest with you I haven't put toooo much thought into that yet, maybe not government positions if they involve seperating kids from families. I understand that there's wayyyyyyyy to many abusive households out there, but I almost got taken away from my mom as a child because she had to leave us home alone for a bit one day as a single mother. That left a sour taste in my mouth, especially when foster families aren't always any better.
I think one of the beauties of the field is the flexibility of what you can become. Alongside what you listed there's options to work with rehabilitating prison populations, or even WFH. I think I'd want to try all of them at some point to really find my calling, but if I had to choose just one? Maybe hospitals if the work environment and life balance is good, I need to do much more research into it though. I haven't even started schooling yet myself haha.
