The bird and the sugar skull are the strongest parts of the design, they should be the elements the entire design should revolve around.
Main change I made is just replacing the tuxedo motif with a skeletal motif, and changing the underbelly and upper jaw to a darker color, to make the white “bones” stand out more. I also changed the shape of the skull and changed the flames to make it not look like a bald clown. I think the flames should only come out when attacking. Possible alternate design is to have the mouth open all the time and have the bird sitting in its mouth instead of on the nose.
