First of all, making the predominantly BLACK-COLORED pokemon the EVIL TYPE? As a historically marginalized group I'm sure you can see why that would be problematic in and of itself. And secondly Dark Type pokemon are not necessarily evil!
Its important to be sensitive and to make these distinctions because it seems like the Fairy Type is trying to come off as the purely good type, when Dark is being painted purely as evil. And considering white people look pinkish like fairies, again, yikes?
My favorite dark Pokemon is Absol, and I don't think Absol is evil. He's very strong and masculine, but knows how to protect his trainer and make her feel safe. Dark doesn't have to mean bad! I think all colors are valid in the grand scheme of things, lets have a dark type thread hopefully with lots of cute Absol pics to get rid of this shitty stereotype.
