>>17087923I hate to come off as a Karenfag, but there are a lot of Pokemon that people disregard at shitmons that can actually be used effectively in OU with the right support. Yea, they're more difficult to use than your standard team of Smogonbird, Smogonfroge, Smogonwash, Smogonsword, Smogonkeys, and Smogonmegamom, but they can work. Sceptile and Delphox are far from shitmons. People are just pissed that Delphox doesn't learn more coverage moves, but Fire/Psychic has pretty good coverage in itself. GF took a shit on Sceptile's special movepool, but it's physical movepool + Sword's Dance can work well with team support.
GF doesn't need to change them radically for them to become Garchomp tier threats. People just need to learn how to use them effectively, because it can be done.
Now Meganium, Emboar, and Samurott... Well... That may be another story...
