So any real reason why you pokeautists get your panties twisted every time someone brings up Light as a possible type? Cosmic I understand because of the implication it can have. But Light has been a staple whenever it comes to types in a videogame (and it fascinates me that GF didn't even consider implementing it from the beginning).

If anything, Fairy is like a counsin of Dark, except instead of creatures playing dirty, we have folklore monsters that either act innocent, but have a dark side to them (Mawile, Mimikyu), are in fact cheerful beings that want to help people (Togekiss), are beings surrounded in mistery and supernatural (Shiinotic) or are assholes to people (the Tapu's, Ninetales). None of these with the exception of Xerneas can ever fall under the Light category (and even that's a huge stretch since it's supposed to be a nature spirit). Plus, if you all are so bugged by another "supernatural" type, just do what
