>>45959357This is a weird cause because design-wise it isn't the worst thing. Too humanoid for my tastes but I'd like how expressive and lively Scorbunny is and Pyro ball's animation is cool. The thing that makes me I hate this line how they embody Game Freak's tendency to play favorites. It's always been a problem but this is probably one of the worst cases.

Court Change is amazing for utility and directly counters Stealth Rock, the most over-centralizing move in the game.
Pyro Ball is Flare Blitz without recoil or contact.
Its stat spread is insanely optimized, letting it focus on Fast Physical Offense while still having some bulk to take hits when it needs to.
Its ability is a reskinned-Protean, one of the best abilities in the entire game.
Extremely diverse movepool full of moves that play to its strengths (it even learns Gunk Shot despite that move having nothing to do rabbits or soccer).
The previous points make it one of the best users of the shiny new Dynamax mechanic.
The stadium set up of Galar is tailor-made for the Scorbunny line.
Inteleon, the Pokémon that should logically counter it, is a shitmon with no moves.
It usurped Typhlosion's role as the only pure Fire type starter. Even worse, because of Libero, it gets STAB from Fire moves without any the the downsides since it can just change its type. Even more insulting, Typhlosion got Jim Crowed out of Galar for "balance".
Overall, Shillerace is so broken and in your face about it, it make me wonder why Game Freak even made the other Starters. Rillaboom is broken but no were near Cinderace levels and Inteleon is hot crap. Considering, how Lame Freak hates 1/4 of their own Pokemon so much that they removed them from the games, it would make sense to let another company take care of the Pokemon they don't want.
