LGPE is fucking shite, I'm almost done playing it. It sucks for so many reasons. The catch mechanic that the game centers around happens to be the worst, most frustrating part of the game. The lack of pro controller support is fucking autistic.
However, the overworld encounters IMO are the best thing to happen to Pokemon in a long while. Not perfect in LGPE, but if they kept improving on the overworld encounters in later games, it would be a very welcome mechanic. It's a shame they said fuck it in SS. But I predicted they'd do that. At least they arent keeping the cringe GO mechanics, and that's coming from someone who still plays GO.
