The first was "how the fuck would a Voltorb Gijinka work"
The second was "what if I had a setting where Gijinkas were more akin to different fantasy races in a setting"
So I ended up having this idea where the Hisuian Voltorb were some weird mix of dryad and fantasy elf and the original Kantonian one were akin to like, elves who decided to go into civilization, wear proper clothes and ditch their affinity to nature while focusing more on their electrical abilities to become craftsmen and architects. Then I decided to put that idea into drawing.
There are gaps in my art abilities so I tend to use reference, and I have not truly learned proper shading.
