Its body is still poisonous hence the poison gas moustache and skull and crossbones, it just has an additional/new organ or something in its head that purifies the air into 'remarkably clean' air. Probably where the new type comes from. Disagree about the bubbles thing, they didn't have to make it so on the nose imo
