By infusing your Pokémon with a Primal one of their types gets a buff within battle, this is restricted to stab types though. Like Megas and Z Moves this is limited to one per battle. Some of these buffs include: Fire type moves being able to destroy their opponents held items, Grass type moves no longer being resisted by other types and they lose some of their weaknesses , Bugs getting a 1.5 pax hp buff, and dragon type moves now get a 1.5 boost and are no longer immune against fairy types. To counteract this, all moves that are super effective against these types now do 3x Super effective damage rather than 2x super effective damage
