The way how he designs the majority of his creatures don't just look very official, but he takes risks when it comes with the color schemes and executes those risks on the right places. He even attempts to stray away with the "it just gets bigger"-look with the evolutions. Even if some evos do look like bigger versions of their pre-evos, most of them tend to get their colors drastically altered such as the electric snakes and the parrots as an attempt to make them feel different aesthetically.
My favorite is the grass starter line. The creativity on the final stage is off the charts. The fire rabbit final evo tho....HOLY SHIT
