I get a bit lucky as Samurott misses two Hydro Pumps in a row, letting Merida take out the sea lion with two X-Scissors.

Fun little tidbit, I was planning to use Flame Charge on Edelgard the Darmanitan, but then I realized Sheer Force is gonna prevent that. I still want a speedy Darm, so I had Edelgard beat up on a metric ton of Purrloin while wearing the Macho Brace. One makes do.
