Physical Shiftry would be stuck with base 60 Dark STAB with Feint Attack but you get Swords Dance so maybe SD/Leaf Blade/Feint Attack and then one of Rock Slide, X Scissor, Brick Break, Aerial Ace, and a cheeky Explosion. Shame move tutors are postgame.
So physical Shiftfy has more coverage but special has better STABs. I’ve used both before and can say both do well so your Modest would should do well
