I consider them to be an improvement over their previous forms -with the exception of two specific ones, which I consider as a fine alternative to preexistent fully evolved forms within their respective families.

Unlike the resulting prevolutions of 4-gen cross gen evos, Mawile and Sableye have absolutely no potential to receive their artistic upgrade - ESPECIALLY Mawile, whose concept is already a finished and closed entity at this stage.
