Second, the problem people have with Brionne is rooted from their expectations and the general consensus that Popplio is ""masculine"". Popplio was considered to be a clown, we associate clowns with males, therefore Popplio was seen as male. The idea was that Popplio was going to end up as a big, goofy, masculine clown.
