>>51856020>What fights were you struggling with? Mass amounts of Seeds, terrain changing, much better PokemonThere were a handful of late game fights depending on terrain and team comps, but there is really only one that served as the nail in the coffin for me, and it was the final Blake fight. Now, listen, I won't pretend like my team is the best it could have been, I use what I like. (Pic rel. Eventually swapped Shao for M-Lopunny) But, I just want to mention that all of his Pokemon have maxed out EVs in every stat, on top of a level advantage and terrain. So, keep that in mind. I feel I had an easier time with the E4, honestly.
That said, my problem is that I shouldn't have to soft reset on every single battle because I didn't have the right lead etc. A lot of the time it felt more like figuring out the most optimal path possible, which happened to be the only path in fewer cases. Adapting in all forms, including in battle, should be the strategy, not exclusively "remove the terrain somehow, stupid." and "Do this specific set of actions in this specific order." If I play right, I should be able to gain momentum, but that isn't possible because there's no way to get it back after the first turn going wrong. Call me a normie but Reborn isn't Radical Red. If it valued challenge in the same way, then no issue.
>Read-outs before you face a boss fightI didn't know this, even though I looked everywhere for them. Maybe I'm unlucky or possibly not smart enough, but I usually found them exclusively afterwards, aside from the final one at Victory Road.
>Filled with bossesAdmittedly, I didn't know this either, and I should have stated it in my previous post but text limits. But, I gave up during the Regi hunt. I got bored, and assumed legend hunting was all that was left, my bad. But still, finding a way to sneak in legends during the main game would have made it feel less like a chore since post game feels pointless without the usual multiplayer content.
