This is were you guys,shot yourselves in the foot. He never said the graphics and animations were high quality, he said they are HIGHER. Just like how 3 is a higher number than 2 but 3 itself isn’t a high number.
The dex wasn’t cut because the graphics or animations are necessarily “high quality” I bet even they realize that. They were cut because the games objectively got a big upgrade in graphical fidelity. The biggest upgrade the games have ever had in fact. HD is a big deal for GF.
Essentially if they were still making games for the 3DS they would have never cut the dex. Take this as you wish, but these are all objective takes
