>>45892918I've mentioned it here before but I never felt attached to my Pokémon in the sense that I was their trainer. I'd often imagine going through the games that the world was only Pokémon. Same story, just remove all the human aspects. Gym leaders, villains, and other important trainers I saw as their ace Pokémon with a team following them around. My starter was the leader of my team. Very similar to Mystery Dungeon but I've never played those.
