The possibility of the megas becoming evos are not extremely likely, given how many dont really fit like evos (scizor, lopunny, mawile and sableye's megas would look shitty like evos, they're just the same pokemon but with more details).
>What does this mean for the future of mawile?This means it has two alternatives: stay in BL0 hell forever, seeing 0.something% usability, or, the less likely but still possible scenario, Hugo and Pure power get nerfed to only double the base stat. This could potentialy bring it back, since it would mean a drop from 259 Base attack to 210. As it stands though, mawile is sorta fucked
