I've heard a lot people say they didn't like it, but I liked how the Exp. Share worked this time around. In the older games, all of my playthroughs would eventually just end up as me tanking through everything with my starter and whatever legendaries were in the game. But the way Exp. Share works in X/Y kept all of my Pokemon within the same level range, which really helped lessen the load of grinding, something I've honestly had a lot of trouble with focusing on in the past.
