Found an alpha vespiquen, level 62, when all my Pokemon were 20-25. Took like an hour to catch, bitch had recovery. For a minute I gave up hope and was convinced I wouldn't be able to catch her.
I know shiny vespiquen is usually considered desirable because of the difficulty in getting a shiny female combee that I didn't do, but it still feels great to have such a desirable shiny, as an alpha no less.
