Battles are mostly doubles so you'll be using moves or strats you wouldn't in other pokemon games.
Pokemon themselves have a lot of personnality through their animations.
Musics are great too.
The pokemon selection is nice, and there are some cool sidequests to do.
I can't really think of any particular flaw really.
Also, at the time, I was really excited to see the new pokemon, namely Bonsly and Munchlax.
