Since I'm apparetly too much of a scrub to beat Hyper Emerald, I'm trying a different Emerald hack this time. Was disappointed by some of the encounters, but everyone on the team is managing to hold their own so far. Even fucking Burmy is putting in work, so much so that I didn't even bother swapping it out when I caught a seventh mon, even though it's male and I already have a Bug/Flying-type on the team. I did have way too many close calls though, thank fuck for Figy Berries. I ended up overeleveling for Roxanne based on my experience with Hyper Emerald, but she was way easier than some of the random trainers.
