I think an important point that a lot of designs miss is that Eeveelutions tend to focus the details on a few specific locations, keeping solid colour across much of the rest of the 'mon. This is why pic related, for example, doesn't work. Subjectively I like this design a lot, but it doesn't fit alongside other Eeveelutions, as it has too many different details (particularly the chest floof and Suicune-like body patterning) in too many different locations.
