On the reveal of Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, I was upset. Rage-filled, even. And I have been, until mere moments ago, when a realization struck me.
That which does not exist, does not exist.
These new games, taken on their own, look like fun. They look to be enjoyable as they are. And to dislike them for what they are not will only bring me displeasure. Everything is not everything that it is not. Only what something is matters. And further, though there may be no 'classic style' pokemon games in the future, this is fine to me. Initially, the concept scared me, and then, I thought again.
That which does not exist, does not exist.
To be upset about not getting pokemon games that never were, that do not and will not exist, is absurd. These things do not exist, why should I let them pain me? And so, casting aside my lust for the things that do not exist, I am left with peace and happiness. Calm yourself, anon, and join me in celebration of that which is real, and hold back your tears for the death of something that never lived.
