Also bad example since I liked SM (ironically more for the adventure than the previous generations, with ORAS similarly even though /vp/ shits on it). As far as memory serves the biggest problem people had with Gen VII was that US/UM shit.

I'm not your therapist, so I don't really care about your life story. It sounds, though, like you're trying to use the games for something they're fundamentally not, then trying to criticize them for it. You have more issues than simply not liking the direction SwSh took.
