https://youtu.be/LFx1BE7ye8YFavorite memories: Entering RSE Route 113 for the first time and seeing the new ash effect blew me away after GSC. Going up Mt Chimney was also just kinda mind blowing as a kid. Never got to ride in a gondola before and it really made my imagination run wild.
The same thing happened with Route 216 when the music kicked in and it was snowing; something about it was magical. Running around in the snow was something my overprotective parents wouldn't let me do after my brother hurt himself bad on ice one year and getting the chance to do it in-game filled that want a lot that year.
Spinoffs I don't keep too many memories of but the ending to the special episode 5 in Explorers of Sky always got me. They managed to save their future, but Grovyle and co will never have the opportunity to tell the player and partner in the past. Darkrai would still be around in that future too and it just kinda hurts to think about the implications of that ending. Bittersweet.
