Abilities and held items did not exist in gen 1 so really it is just a remake closer to home (yes pokemon was even simpler than LGPE in gen 1 but yall genwunners forget that all the time thinking gen 1 is fired red)

Pokemon world feels alive than ever and seeing pokemon in overworld is just plainly much better

Although it makes perfect sense when pokemon are in the overworld and having battles would just drag the game a lot and make it a tedious experience. They have them for legendaries and that makes perfect sense too
If you haven't played the game and you are hating on it, YOU are a fucktard. Not the ones buying it because LGPE is the superior kanto experience. Graphics are better than ever in pokemon. Story is much more dymamic and the post game is mad lit.
