I love Mewtwo's Gen 1 sprite. Still undeniably cool, but not that sort of generic "sleek anime character" cool that you see in later generations. It looks like a dangerous, feral creature that's sort of stalking you like a predator, except it's just going to splatter your brains with its psychic powers instead of rip your throat out or whatever.
>>53701064Unironically yes. It legitimately looks kind of creepy here. I don't mind the redesign it got later, but one thing I miss from Gen 1 was that it wasn't afraid to make the monsters look a little freaky.
