It's what happens when you leave the chubby girl in charge of snacks while spending large portions of your day sedentary. While Bianca is learning from Juniper, Juniper is also learning from her in a way. The fastest way to get fat is to have fat coworkers and friends after all.
She's a bit overused perhaps, but I do like Melony a lot for this sort of thing. Just an older woman who gets fat from being in the same room as a malasada having to be around a younger woman with their Battle Buffets and ice cream binges. Even someone as nice and Melony probably can't help but get a little... jealous. Especially if the skinny girl is reveling in it or making jabs at her motherly weight in the process.
