>>43393944They were worth 0 Pokedollars in Gen 1 to deter people from selling them, because unlike Fire/Water/Leaf/Thunder Stones, their numbers were limited and were not purchasable. You need 4 at the very least and there are 5 in the game. It's not that they're worth nothing, it's more so that they're invaluable. They're only able to be sold because they're expendable items that the player might want to get rid of despite their rarity. Them being marked at 0 is just GF's way of saying "Yeah but don't actually sell them, you'll need these if you want to complete the Pokedex."
