Anyway tangla is one of my favorite Gen 1 mons. I always assumed he was supposed to be a creature hiding in vines. More recent art however has its face as black not just shadows.
What I want to know is what is up with Tangrowth. Such a weird gen 4 evolution and doesn't seem like a natural progression of the design. The only worse one is Ryperior in terms of not linking back and properly expanding on the orginal mon. It just gets bigger, but not in a good way.
