i have 950 hours on pearl i accumulated during 7th and 8th grade and not one fucking shiny, none in the other games (3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th gen) either. only got them while playing pirated games or rom hacks. i was an injectfag as well, but i never injected a shiny because i treated them like trophies that you either hunt for with patience or the game gifts them to you.
