>>48194185Now it was time for Mewtwo. I wanted the final fight to be a team effort, but any way I looked at it the best and safest way to do it was to let Slowbro do his thing. He ate all my saved up Rare Candies to get to L70 and off we went to Cerulean Cave. Mewtwo started out with Recover while Slowbro paralyzed with Thunder Wave. With the speed advantage Slowbro set up Amnesia while Mewtwo fired off a Psychic, which didn’t do much with the Special boost – but he did get a Special drop. Knowing I needed at least +2 Spc for a 2HKO, Slowbro went for Amnesia again while Mewtwo went for another Psychic and got yet another Special drop. At this point I was still at +2 so time to go on the attack. Two Surfs later Mewtwo was no more.
Really lost steam on this one at the end, relieved that I can move on from it. Still up for another one though, this time with a less familiar game. /nuz/ should I go for HGSS, Platinum or a decent ROMHack?
