>>34212615I take it you don't play many card games. They are all like this because they WANT you to buy packs. It's how they make the bulk of their money by forcing you to gamble for good cards. Thus you buy singles to get the cards you really want to kill the gambling aspect of opening a pack. Buying packs isn't a terrible thing, but in the long run you get a lot more for your money by buying singles over packs.
Basically, open packs for fun, not for profit.
