So do males.
If the female knows Fake Out, Thunder Punch, it will pass these to the offspring. If the male also knows egg moves, those egg moves might be overriding the ones you want to pass down.
Look up what egg moves pass down and either teach the male some TMs as filler to override egg moves you don't want passed, or use heart scales to delete them.
Bred over 1000 different eggs and I'm sure these are the mechanics.
