Gym is a library, the puzzle is that you need to collect materials in the gym and defeat the trainers to get the recipes to remove the obstacles, if you mess it up you fight a Grimer/Muk (can't catch it and it gives no experience)
Why each member of the team
Incineroar family: Pun because they are the heel pokemon and have the alchemic simbol for sulfur in their design so basically a summoned demon
Tentacruel family: Eldritch stuff
Honchkrow family: Dark magic
Galarian Slowpoke/King: Evil wizard with the weird potions, this one is mostly because of the ability
Glimora: A bit more eldritch stuff but less chtulu mythos and more something that looks like it's from a different dimension (could probably be replaced with a Nihilego in the last battle but I don't feel like legendaries fit with gym leaders)
Spiritomb: Knowledge about souls and a creature that was sealed so long ago the only records are in ancient tomes
I could not think of good TMs so I just threw two random ones
