I travelled to Johto to try to compete in their league, seeing as it would occur in a few months compared to a whole nother year compared to the Indigo one.
I released Dratini to free her from the pains of pokemon fighting. Some of my Pokemon evolved during my travels, however Growlithe seemed to be lagging behind, now in a one way rivalry, for Hitmonlee had moved unto better things, becoming fierce rivals with Scyther.
I managed to catch a few new Pokemon, but they didn't get to shine much for my older Pokemon were far stronger. Occasionally however Teddiursa and Murkrow would fill the 6th spot in the team, for Scyther still refused to obey my commands most of the time.
A pokemon named Mewtwo started ravaging the land however, and some of the strongest trainers in the region started chasing after him, hoping to contain its power. Among those trainers were Claire, the one gym leader I had not yet defeated. Not only was I not able to challenge her for the badge, but with Mewtwo running rampant throughout Johto the league had been postponed. There were also rumors of a big criminal organization named Team Rocket mobilizing in the region, and thus I decided to leave to a much safer region, Hoenn.
I decided to send Slowbro back home, for he missed his pond in Celadon, while Sensei Koichi had fallen ill, and Hitmonlee wanted to see him before a possible death.
The newly evolved Ursasing and Flaaffy took their place in the party, and some new Pokemon joined the reserves.
I managed to collect all eight badges, but some assholes who call themselves team Magma started causing trouble around Hoenn, with some rumors even speaking of them summoning the legendary Groudon and bringing about the end of the world as we know it. With so much going on, the league was cancelled for this year. Maybe next year I'll have a chance to finally prove myself...
