With all the newfriends coming from Reddit, 9gag, and memebase, I thought it would be appropriate to explain some stuff about Showderp. Let's start with some common terms:
Podracing: This is when two fast mons are fighting each other.
Donk: Short for "donkey kong." It's when someone uses a monkey Pokemon like Infernape or Darmanitan.
Funbro: A Slowbro set. The moves are Trick Room/Surf/Psyshock/Ice Beam
Smogon: Poison-typed Pokemon, so Pokemon like Crobat are called "Smogonbats" and so on. Monotyped Poison teams are called "Smogon: The Team"
Waifu: A common mispelling of "Wife-Fu". Refers to female fighting-type Pokemon like Meloetta.
le: German for "the." Used to indicate intelligence.
Balk: Refers to a Pokemon that is quite heavy, such as Glalie, Beartic, or Ursaring.
Also, if someone puts their text inbetween asterisks (*) that means they are roleplaying, a very popular acitvity.
