Glauqua/Hydranticus should be a rare encounter found via surfing. Maybe you could find Glauqua via fishing, too, but not Hydranticus.
Also, I just came back from a trip to Costa Rica. You fuckers need some jungle river routes, stat. You need to make the jungle area fantastic. Have a river connecting route 17 to route 19, with lots of little canals to explore. Maybe it extends back past route 19 to a little hidden jungle temple or quiet sanctuary, or something. Or perhaps a back area to the dragon sanctuary or the deep jungle.
Speaking of the dragon sanctuary, and other very atmospheric places, we aren't going to have the traditional battle music there, are we? I'd prefer strongly if it were just the ambient overworld music playing during wild pokemon encounters, so that the atmosphere isn't broken (that's implying that we'll have encounters at all).
Also, as an overworld "dungeon", like Virbank complex, maybe in and around the Safari have some cloudwalk bridges in the canopy? That'd be fun.
