Even if youre a day 1 player, sometimes there are new memes you gotta grind, UBs you gotta catch or new mainstages you gotta do. and after that just farm your coins back up. during that time you get enough excess RML to have a few more than you can spend, especially since you barely level mons while grinding coins. I mean, I'd almost use up all my RML if I were to use all my excess xp. but there is nothing that really needs the xp right now. Saving it for new SM memes or so.
