Been a while since we had one. If somebody actually has a template for these, feel free to post it, I'll just start right away.
Currently at my randomized Platinum Nuzlocke, reached Hearthome with my party of 5. Random encounters, random trainer mons (with type specializations), random mon abilities, random items on the ground. Given that a) my starter was Heracross, b) first encounter was Parasect and c) first item found was Claw Fossil, I decided to do a mono bug run and change the encounter rule accordingly. 5 encounters/3 different species and if I don't find a bug type, the route is out of question.
So far I have Unburden Heracross, Solid Rock Parasect (I accidentally fixed a shitmon), Swarm Masquerain, Tinted Lens Skorupi (I don't care if Drapion isn't a bug type, it was one when I caught it. I ain't getting rid of Snips) and Filter Anorith. RIP in pieces: Burmy (I kinda hoped for a Sandy Wormadam), Cascoon, Volbeat.
Naturally both Roark and Mars had to roll for fire type and I almost got fucked during both those fight (one had Blaziken, the other Heatrean, fuck this), good thing Heracross is OP. Gardenia turned out to be water type, wasn't so bad. Now I'm trying to figure out if I actually have to enter the contest hall.
